Biez's Background in Immigration Law
Biez has worked exclusively in immigration law since 2016 and joined Guirguis Law in January 2021. He brings hands-on experience, fluency in three languages, and a genuine commitment to helping families through difficult legal situations. Over that time, he has built a strong foundation in both affirmative and removal-side immigration matters, giving him a broad view of the process from initial applications through court hearings.
At our immigration law firm, Biez provides direct support to attorneys and clients: scheduling appointments, drafting forms, maintaining case files, and helping clients prepare for hearings before the immigration court. Families working through adjustment of status, asylum, naturalization, or deportation and removal proceedings often speak with Biez as their case moves through each stage.
Born and raised in Brazil, Biez moved to the United States at age fourteen. That personal experience with immigration gives him a natural understanding of what clients are going through, and it shapes how he communicates with them at every step.

- Bachelor's degree in history from Chowan University, earned in 2013
- Currently pursuing a Juris Doctor at North Carolina Central University School of Law
- Experience assisting with adjustment of status, asylum, naturalization, and temporary protected status matters
- Support on family-based visas, employment visas, and U and other nonimmigrant visa cases
- Familiarity with crimmigration issues and deportation defense preparation
